Northampton West End Bowls Club
The club is a friendly competitive club with several county and national honours being won over the clubs 120 years existence.
The club membership is about 45 playing members, with an age range from 18 years to 82 years.
More members are always welcome, both male and female, especially players who will play in the Thursday and Saturday mixed games, enthusiasm is as important as ability.
In addition to the friendly games, the club enters teams in a range of knockout competitions and evening leagues and members are encouraged to enter National, County and Club Competitions. Any bowler who reaches the finals of County Competitions will be asked to play in the National Finals at Leamington Spa.
The Bar is stocked with a selection of beers and spirit and is open before and after matches and from 7:30 pm most evenings in Summer, we have a small snooker table and dart board located within the clubhouse, cards and dominos are also available to play and these indoor games are enjoyed by all members after a game of bowls.
The club competitions are played every summer and these include Ladies & Men Singles championships, Men’s Pairs, Mixed Triples, and Mixed 2 Woods Singles.
